| Ever since there is customizing of friendster profiles we did here the word ripping.
okay we sometimes misuse this word.
First it was use when a person intentionaly remove the name of the original maker. for example a graphix that was created by MR X... then Mr Y remove the Created By MR X and replace it with his own. This was use by newbie graphix users before. because they don't know how to have an original creation. This is seen in some premade layouts where someone remove the created by:
Now how about codes?
okay Codes are codes are made by people this might be by experiment or really by their own talent because they read or learn computer programing programs. Most of the codes in Friendster like the Id and other things from friendster are already in friendster and those can't be ripped and you can't say that was yours because you know the ID.
so codes/script like in the dynamic drive
are script or codes that was really created and was done by that person. So as a sign of respect we can use it but we need to still include his or her name. thats not ripping but thats just a sign of respect... respect to his hardwork.
| Quote: | <script type="text/javascript"> var module = {"owner": 17689960, "moduleID": "1", "moduleName": "photos" } modules["1"] = module; </script><div id="content_1"> |
how about friendster scripts? like the one above are already in friendster. Those scripts and ModuleID are not made by friendster users but it is already with friendster. So when we used those modules it is not ripping we are just using what friendster has in it's site.
If codes are yours originally or you have created a script you can then make something like this and share it to others. this just tells others that it is really yours.
| Quote: | /* Your Code(By Your name) Permission granted to site to include script in archive For this and 100's more DHTML scripts, visit http://sitewhereyoupostthecode */ |
The only time we could say it is ripped when the owner/creator are the ones who are complaining. We can't assume that because we saw a code somewhere in the net and then see it again in another forum/site that the other one just ripped it. Let those people who are affected be the one to tell that it is ripped or not.
Sometimes the original creators sometimes are even flattered when they see that their code is being used and they don't complain. Why will we complain when the original owners doesn't bother to complain.
Again Friendstermagic is a sharing site where anyone can post codes/premades that will helped friendster users in modifying their profile. If it's your original code/design and you want to be recognize put your name as creator... if you don't know the original creator then just post it (you can put anonymous) or you can just put the name of the original creator if you really know who it is.
Anyway peace everyone... Hope friendstermagic has helped you in some small ways how you can modify your profile. and thank you to all members _________________
